MY HEALTHY FOR LIFE
By instilling the fundamental principles of sound nutrition and life-long healthy habits in our children early, we can help ensure that they bear the fruit of health and wellness throughout their lives. Together, we can help make Healthy for Life™ an achievable goal for everyone.
Proudly, as a collaborative effort between the Rochester City School District and ARAMARK, we are able to provide a invaluable resouce for all things related to Child Nutrition and Wellness. The all new 'MY HEALTHY FOR LIFE' portal provides perhaps the most comprehensive review of USDA Guidelines, Nutritional Standards and provides Answers to some of the frequently asked questions regarding School Food Services.

| NEW - Nutritional Standards for School Meals!
Through the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act championed by the First Lady and signed by President Obama, USDA is making the first major changes in school meals in 15 years, which will help us raise a healthier generation of children. The new standards align school meals with the latest nutrition science and the real world circumstances of America’s schools. These responsible reforms do what’s right for children’s health in a way that’s achievable in schools across the Nation.
Here are some great links to the USDA Website which provide the details of the program and what it means to the health and wellness of your child -
